Biden assured us that if we give offensive weapons to Ukraine, that would assure WW3. He is giving Abrams tanks to Ukraine (that were meant forTaiwan) and China is selling

Prolly gunna be either a false flag attack or an actual Russian attack. Either way, someone wants us in a war with Russia.

'Not sure that is going through. Some strong opposition growing in Congress to the continuing blank check for Z.

Nothing is too odious for the 'Crats in power to consider - even false flag attacks (as evidenced by politically-driven 'Crat FF attacks in the USA during election cycles).

But it looks as if the tanks are a no-go. The Germans cancelled theirs.

What was that title of some stupid movie - the Forever War. Creating crises is the 'Crats' specialty. Ending them (through surgical application of military force) is the U.S. tradition through two centuries at least.

There is some indication that the nation wants to move back toward the latter policies - aka Peace Through Strength. That is a time-honored thing going back to antiquity. Great powers have always dealt in that when they could. It's a civilized use of power - possibly one of the most-civilized. Weak leaders/nations cannot employ it because it requires demonstrating to enemies (and potential enemies) a willingness and enjoyment of the use of superior firepower.

If Zelensky believes he will be denied nothing, he has little incentive to negotiate peace at any point, because he can (theoretically) improve his side's strategic position by holding out as long as possible before negotiating.

This is Ockaham's Razor applied to warfare.

The military industrial complex did not like when Trump was ending wars and not starting new ones. Profits were going down.

Suddenly we have an endless war in Ukraine vs Russia and we are just giving away Billions to 'help'. No oversight on the money, and much (most?) is in the form or weapons that we then buy new ones to replace our supply.

Before the war, Ukraine was known to be one of the most corrupt countries. Now it is just more of that.

The Russian and Ukraine governments are what happens when DNA rots and the Leadership Paradox* fully manifests itself.

The one thing that has remained consistent about that part of the world (Eastern Europe and proximity) is that the Peoples of those nations have lacked responsible, ethical, free-representative governance for centuries. Instead of helping them to become more like we used to be (a constitutional republic in the tradition of the Ancient Roman Republic) we are now becoming more and more oligarchic/corrupt/ungovernable like they are.

* Leadership Paradox - Principle which states that those who are least worthy of administrating governance morally, ethically, justly and efficiently are the most likely to achieve/hold power.
