So many leftists are completely ignorant about firearms. They say and do many stupid things in that regard.
You can't just shoot someone because they are in your house after breaking in. Unless they threaten you or someone else in the house and you can't escape (unless your state has stand-your-ground) shooting/killing a non-violent, unarmed intruder would likely get a attempted murder/manslaughter charge.
