The full title is "America's Expiration Date: The Fall of Empires and Superpowers . . . and the Future of the United States"   (Available Amazon Kindle, about $15)

It is by Cal Thomas and is, approximately a reprise of a book by Sir John Glubb, The Fate of Empires and Search for Survival.
Glubb was surprised to learn that the average age of a nation or empire’s greatness is 250 years. “This average,” he writes, “has not varied for 3,000 years.”

In most cases, the entity in question does not simply disappear after 250 years but staggers on in a much less dynamic and influential state.  The important point to understand is that they never return to their greatness,

Sir John found patterns, or stages, in the rise and fall of great nations. He called them the age of pioneers, the age of conquests, the age of commerce, the age of affluence, the age of intellect, and finally the age of decadence.

He describes the age of decadence as:
•​Defensiveness 
•​Pessimism 
•​Materialism 
•​Frivolity 
•​An influx of foreigners [too many, too quickly to be assimilated, I would add] 
•​The Welfare State
•​A weakening of religion

On July 4, 2026, the United States of America will be 250 years old.

Russ, you can smell it in the air. But, the Bible predicts these things. Why they are purposely destroying the US is beyond me--it's always follow the $$$$ and enough have.....

Not really. I think a steady decline to irrelevance is more likely.

Since I believe O is behind all of this, and our enemies have been given precedence over Americans, I believe it will be happening more quickly than we thought

Many are awakening and they can't afford that. As Mika's daddy said "It's easier to kill a million people than to control a million people."  I believe they will have those who came over the border, attack the grid or just attack Americans as they gather in strategic areas.  They are more insidious than anyone can imagine.
