If it is what it appears to be, it could likely only be produced by organic means. IOW, the chemical only exists on Earth as a byproduct of homeostasis(life), commonly in oceanic systems.

This is pretty amazing, but still not conclusive because there may be unknown natural INORGANIC chemical processes that could create it. Labs create it by inorganic means all the time but it has never been observed to occur that way in nature.

Also, a single spectrograph reading is not irrefutably reliable.

If they see a very specific isotope of organic chlorophyll consistently in a spectrographic observation like this, that would be damn conclusive. It's a very delicate molecule that is nigh impossible to make in the lab inorganically - relates to plant photosynthesis (the way plants convert sunlight to food).

BTW Larry Elder ( absolutely, positively no "s") has the social issues locked up policy-wise - rescripting Thomas Sowell, et al.

The exclusion of Larry Elder (for whatever reason) from the debates causes its premises to be diminished. He's a highly-informed, well-read pragmatist who richly deserves to be considered for president.

Larry Elder is too smart to be stupid.

The GOP should do nothing to discourage him from doing his job - representing reality. He is one of the best proponents of the SMIA I know.

None of them want him because he understand the issues and would put them all to shame.

That's prolly true of some of them - 'looks like he didn't make the cut or was so close the RNC made a judgment call to exclude him.

That is unfortunate. Nobody knows Thomas Sowell better than Elder. It would be refreshing to hear the words of the SMIA quoted on stage more...
