Really? Proposed bill in Florida requires bloggers to register with the state in order to write about DeSantis?

So Florida decided that free speech isn't a thing anymore? Why?

And since DeSantis has refused to reject Soros' "endorsement," and forced Trump supporters to take off their campaign hats and signs at a book signing event recently, I won't be supporting DeSantis as a presidential candidate anymore. No thanks. I feel betrayed.

I thought Florida was supposed to be setting the precedent for freedom!

Stupid idea - how do you know that the Gov. supports it?

It doesn't sound like something he'd support.

And they have to receive payment.

It is go nowhere stupid thing because 1 legislature got his panties in a bunch.

It is just making news as click-bait and DeSantis has NOTHING to do with it.

A-holes abound (even outside the ranks of Democrats). DeSantis does not appear to be one of them.

I guess it pays to do some research to avoid making harsh judgements.

There are too many strange coincidents happening today.

I didn't say that DeSantis supports it (this one is on me for not making it clear). I actually don't know if he's even aware of it. At the time of this writing, he hasn't responded to the bill as far as I know.

Even if the article is admittingly clickbait, that doesn't change my views about DeSantis. He's still a great governor, but recent actions made me lose trust in him. I'm disappointed that DeSantis appears to be turning against Trump supporters. Does he not let them have a voice?

But either way, I don't have high hopes for the next election regardless of the nominee. I'd rather be focused on leading my own life instead.
