If this is correct (still in discovery) it means that Harvard board members knowingly concealed the fact that she plagiarized work and that they helped her by ignoring it so they could hire her anyway. That would help explain why the Board has supported her so stridently. The damage of having such information come out was likely held over their heads as a threat.
