Recalls the (Art of War?) truism about how the mind is the deadliest weapon, or something similar.

Director Vince Gilligan creates some profound, interesting scenes with violence.

The "Saul" clip also recalls a famous cinematic moment in the Frankenheimer film Ronin - one hired "crewman" humiliates another who then retaliates physically - but is defeated utterly by nothing more than a cup of coffee (a weapon-of-opportunity).

A firearm gives more control (ideally) but there can be no genuine mastery of any situation without fitness/excellence-of-mind.

The cool, calm brutality of the "crewman" Mike is very similar to that of Kurosawa's rogue samurai (actor Toshiro Mifune) in the classic Japanese movie, Yojimbo (pronounced Yoh-him-boh).

Mike's character is a little less brutal than the samurai, since Mike doesn't kill anyone in this "lesson".
