As you pointed out since there is no cure for either malady at present, one cannot rationally criticize Williams for his choosing to jump as opposed to being pushed. How horrible for both he and his caregiver/loved ones. 

Sure, maybe there was only a correlation between the years of cocaine overdosing and the destruction of his brain cells - but I'd rather err on the side of caution in that regard. 

The human body, especially the brain/neurons are structured like a complex symphony orchestra more than a potato. Reverence for the fact that it functions at all should prolly guide us into a path of restraint. Tampering with those delicate chemo-electric circuits which control all of our activity and cognition seemed to me through my entire life to now, to be exceedingly reckless.
