Original Message:   Shareholders and movie audiences seem to agree.
Anti-conservative-fanatic O and O'd studios often run political projects which inevitably bomb at the box office, but they do it anyway to serve their masters. Shareholders may seek to reign in that tendency this election cycle because frankly Disney can't afford too many more big failures with big dollar movie projects.

Since it's an election year, there will no doubt be some anti-conservative agitprop released as "entertainment" that will cost the shareholders even more money. That's what happens when big investment firms and foreign money (Blackrock, PRC et al) get big stakes in production companies. They shift some of their operations away from audience-centered material to politically-centered propaganda. The former is a profit center, the latter a cost center.
