I don't really consider myself to be an actual libertarian. That's because the real Libertarian Party holds views on economics that some will not agree with. And they also have certain views on other subjects that I don't agree with either. I consider myself to be an Independent Libertarian to emphasize that I'm not associated with the Libertarian Party (and that I'm open-minded as long as it doesn't take away my freedom). The party itself doesn't have the best candidates. Unfortunately, no political parties are immune to compromise and sabotage. But, some people in the Republican Party are the best we've got so far.
