Original Message:   Looks like Mr. Monikerless might be on to something re the PRC's strategery w spy craft.

Ihavenoname mentioned below his suspicions that there might really be chess moves tied up in the seeming checkers game of mysterious border incursions. I am reading some analysts observations (on FoxNews and elsewhere) that serious turmoil/shenanigans are ongoing in the PRC in many sectors. They might rather not have international political/media scrutiny there, so it all could very well be intended primarily to serve as a distraction.

Iran, China and Russia have been cooperating on some fairly intense shenanigans of late. It is not unusual for nations involved in shady (destabilizing/provocative/illegal) dealings to try to distract the free world with other issues while they work - even at the cost of looking like they are on the "losing end" to some degree.

One of the most troubling things about the Xiden administration in my own mind is not so much what they are doing as what they SHOULD be doing but are not. Such as defending the borders and enforcing a consistent foreign policy which challenges foreign incursion/totalitarian expansion of their operations and interests globally.

I am not a "neo-conservative" on foreign policy at all, but unless your enemies are somewhat afraid of you, they will not respect you. To be respected by low-lifes, one must demonstrate not only that one possesses superior fire power, but also that one enjoys using it to further policy stances around the world.
