NY Times & CNN to Package News by Topical Themes

April 25, 2004 (TAP) -- As some news organizations go into their annual summer rerun cycle, the NY Times and CNN announced today they will cooperate in packaging their news reporting in topical categories as "headline themes" to be aired or printed over and over again.

Among the categories scheduled for reprinting or re-broadcasting:

-- Democrats, CNN and the NY Times are shocked and saddened at anything George Bush does.

-- The economy, while apparently rebounding, will likely get worse.

-- France and everybody in the world still hates America.

-- Someone famous said something outrageous about President Bush.

-- Disturbing war videos or stories you need to see again and again.

-- Senator John Kerry is a "centrist".

-- George Bush is a radical, right-wing conservative.

-- The United States is wrong to be in Iraq.

-- The Pentagon should be under the authority of the United Nations.

-- Taxpayers want to return their tax cuts to the IRS.

-- World Trade Center widows are still opposed to President Bush.

-- President Bush still refuses to admit mistakes or to apologize to White House reporters.
