People's Progressive Committee Says, "9/11 Could Have Been Avoided"
By The ASSORTED PRESS
August 7, 2004 (TAP) The "People's Progressive Committee to Challenge the 9/11
Commission" (PPCCC), recently issued the following statement:
"We know and our storefront attorneys can demonstrate that the so-called terrorists were just innocent victims of American political right-wing interests and Capitalism. Our own government and business people opened the door and invited these Muslims to come in. We shouldn't blame the peaceful Muslim devotees. They were victims as well. "
At the heart of PPCCC's claim is their apparent belief that the Boeing Company, the airlines involved and the government could have stopped terrorists from crashing planes into the World Trade Center (WTC) if they really wanted too.
Our ASSORTED PRESS Roving Reporter interviewed members of the "non-partisan" People's Progressive Committee and asked them the following question;
QUESTION: "In what way do you think American business or government authorities were to blame for the 9/11 tragedy?"
"I think money grubbing Boeing made the planes too aerodynamic, too fast and too easy to steer. Hey, are you working for those capitalistic pigs at Fox TV?.... Who? Assorted Press, what's that?"
Evan Chahadinuf
"Why didn't Boeing install a tranquilizer gas system which would have 'knocked out' all passengers in the event of a hijacking attempt and no one would have been hurt? Say, you're kind of cute, what's your name? Russ? Really? What time do you get off work Russ?"
Sue Yourazzof
"The stupid airlines should have used non-flammable liquid as jet fuel. Hey, you're a reporter, have you heard any rumors about the Kerrys and the Edwards getting it on in a homosexual orgy foursome?"
Barry D'Alive
"The answer is simple enough, airport security should have conducted pre-boarding psychological evaluations, evaluations, evaluations...."
Mike Ocksmall
"Of course, the flight crews should have worn suits of armor or other body armor. Hey can you call my lawyer in Syria? That damned Ashcroft is holding me illegally here."
Igor Beaver
"Simple, the answer is "Safety First", the Port Authority should have equipped the WTC towers with huge airbags, or electromagnetic shields. Did you know that the People's Progressive Committee members are all voting for John Kerry?"
