Multimillionaire Edwards Sues President Bush on Behalf the "Regular People"

July 6, 2004 (TAP) -- Wealthy Liberal John Edwards, who was just picked as megamillionaire liberal John Kerry's running mate, filed a class-action lawsuit today on behalf of "regular people" against George Bush, claiming that the president is running a defective administration which is "unsafe at any speed."

Mr. Edwards, a first term liberal Senator who made millions as a personal injury attorney, said he's asking the court to award the Democrat Party a victory in the November 2004 election.

"We all know that elections are decided by the judiciary in our great nation," said Mr. Edwards. "That makes John Kerry and I the perfect president and vice-president, and I intend for us to have our day in court -- for the benefit of the regular people, of course."
