Strange weekend thoughts from a moderate (or centrist) poster in a Conservative forum |

Having posted at the Conservative Right Minds Forum since I was a young man I noticed we have different religious and political beliefs and different avatars (so many guns), we have different gifts, we each possess our own unique...elbows. (No two are alike, you know.) And if we could just put our finger on what it is that makes us special, we'd all know our asses from our elbows. My posts and Assorted Press articles are not those of a man of wisdom who "has it all figured out." Those who know me know that there is actually no formal education in my background. I like to see the humor in situations when possible to help preserve my sanity in a nutty world. What I like to do here is meet others in these threads as "one hungry beggar hoping to show another hungry beggar where to find bread." I want us to walk arm in arm through this forum learning that people are really good and not all like some yeast infection.
Enjoying the company of interesting posters looking at all the sights along the way and some times stopping for a cup of coffee, what more does one need from a forum? Do you some times think, “Why can’t other posters be as smart as I am? Why can’t everyone see things the way I do? Why can’t everyone agree with me?” If you do, get over it, you may have a problem and your name may be Chief Sits-on-the-fence.
Thanks to Gary for starting us on this journey, Thanks to Russ for keeping us going and thanks to all the good and interesting people I keep meeting along the way.
Have a good weekend. Fritz |
